About
ANDREW COTTON

Chef Andrew Cotton is a born and raised Islander. Starting in kitchens almost 20 years ago, Andrew developed a passion for cooking and food service in general. Andrew attended the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown where he graduated in 2011 and went on to acquire his Red Seal certification shortly after. He spent much of his career working in several great island restaurants, most notably, five years as the Head Chef of Merchantman Seafood & Oyster Bar, later moving on to a role in culinary operations. Through his career, Andrew has had the pleasure of experiencing the opening of several successful restaurants across Atlantic Canada first hand, as well as many years of experience executing foodservice at two of Atlantic Canada's largest music festivals: Cavendish Beach Music Festival and Sommo Music Fest. Andrew currently resides in Charlottetown with his wife Laura and young son Theo.
First hand experience showed us that there are very few mobile kitchen options in Atlantic Canada, yet they are an extremely valuable tool that gives operations the opportunity to expand on what they are doing or to try something new altogether. From festivals, weddings and pop-up events to kitchen renovations and emergency situations, having the flexibility of a mobile kitchen can vastly expand not just what you are able to do but improve quality of life for your team. We also wanted to take that to the next level by offering not just a one-size-fits-all space, but one that is customizable and covers the needs common to every foodservice operation
